Alina nodded but didn’t want to elaborate. Thaliana was still unwell, and there was no need to dwell on the matter. She pointed to the bowl of soup nearby and said, “I’ve already had a fresh serving prepared. It’s best not to touch this one—someone will take care of it.” Thaliana nodded, her voice soft. “If you hadn’t come today, Captain, I might not have survived.” Alina reassured her. “Don’t worry. As long as you’re under the protection of the Pace family, no one will dare harm you.” With that, she turned toward the door to leave. Just as she took two steps, a voice called out to her. Courtney had rushed out from inside the room, stopping at the door. “Natalie, how is Tina now?” she asked. Courtney had been staying at the Pace family home for several days, and though she hadn’t gone out, she had noticed the tension in the household. It was clear that Tina had encountered some danger. Alina smiled lightly and said, “She’s fine. Don’t worry about her. Focus on taking care of your
