KAREN’S POV I woke up in a dark, cramped space. I felt disoriented and confused, unsure of where I was, and how I gotten there. I tried to sit up, but the van I was moving so I lost balance, falling back down. As I tried to regain my composure, a man grabbed me by the arm, pulling me back down. “You need to stay still.” He said, his voice firm and cold. “Or else, things will get worse for you.” My mind was racing, trying to figure out what to do. I was so confused. I didn’t know what to do at the moment, I didn’t even know how I got to this situation. The last thing I remembered was sitting in my hospital bed, after being checked by the doctor. I had gunshots in the hospital, and people were running around trying to escape. Immediately I tried standing on my feet to make any move, I felt tired and weak in that instant,I didn’t think anything of it. Then, everything went black. “Please let me go,I just want to go back home, I will give you whatever you want.” I
