Chapter 826 Ivanka Is Gone

Michael’s icy gaze fell directly on the bed, but the sheets were neatly folded. There was no one there. He looked in the bathroom, only to find it empty! His face darkened instantly. He immediately took out his phone and tried calling Ivanka, but all he got was the female voice prompt indicating that her phone was switched off. Michael’s expression darkened even more. He immediately left the room and headed toward Ivan’s room. After ringing the doorbell, he continued knocking. Ivan irritably spoke up. “Who the hell is it? Knocking endlessly early in the morning!” He had never considered Michael doing this. Irritated by the persistent knocking, Ivan opened the door, ready to give a piece of his mind. He was surprised to see Michael standing at the door grimly. Ivan was dumbfounded. “Whoa, how come it’s you? Are you crazy? Knocking like this?” “Where is Sandy?” Ivan frowned immediately. He spoke up in a protective tone, “Sandy isn’t even up, and you want her to go accompany Ivanka so early in the morning?” “Sandy isn’t up yet?” “Yes, everyone is still in bed, okay?” Michael frowned deeply. He was not entirely convinced by Ivan’s words. He spoke up immediately, “Ivanka is missing. Where is Sandy?” Ivan instantly realized that something was wrong. He quickly headed toward Sandy’s room. Just moments ago, he was calling Michael’s knocking crazy, but now he was pounding on Sandy’s bedroom door just as forcefully. “Sandy! Are you up?” Bang, bang, bang, bang! Sandy was already irritated by Michael’s banging. She was just about to fall asleep again when she heard Ivan banging on her door. She could not help but shout in anger, “Are you insane? It’s so early in the morning!” Her voice was sharp and carried a hint of hoarseness from just waking up. It was clear that Sandy was in her bedroom. Ivan sighed in relief. He glanced at Michael. Although he did not say a word, the look in his eyes conveyed everything. Michael strode over. He said in a low voice, “Ivanka is missing, and her phone is switched off.” Sandy was going to go back to sleep, but his words jolted her awake instantly. She did not even stop to freshen up. She immediately got out of bed and opened the door. Her hair was down and even a little messy. Ivan’s expression darkened even more when he saw her coming out to see Michael in her pajamas. However, Sandy did not pay any attention. She did not even spare him a glance. Instead, she looked at Michael with a worried expression. “What do you mean Iv is missing? What’s going on?” Michael furrowed his brow tightly. “Did she say anything to you yesterday?” “No! Where could she have gone?” Sandy replied irritably and ran her fingers through her hair. She immediately grabbed her phone, but then she suddenly saw a message. It was from Ivanka. She was shocked. “She actually left in the middle of the night!” Ivanka had bought a plane ticket! Ivan was also a bit stunned. “Whoa, she just left like that?” Just as Sandy finished speaking, Michael barged in and snatched her phone. Sandy was furious. She was about to say something, but Michael had already seen the message. Ivanka: Bestie, something urgent came up, I need to go back first. Don’t worry about me. I’ll be fine. It was a message only to Sandy and did not mention Michael or hint at their argument. Because Ivanka did not say anything, Michael was uneasy.
