Chris understood the meaning behind my words, and his face turned cold. He turned around and walked away, but after taking a few steps, he stopped and pointed at Harlan. "I'm warning you, don't hurt her. If you do, I'll stop at nothing to make you pay, no matter what it takes."
With that, Chris looked at me one last time and left.
