Just as Bianca finished packing her bags and was preparing to fly to Kyrevia the next morning to find Julian, Douglas stopped her.
"If he wants to leave, let him go!" he snapped. "What are you chasing after him for? That cold-hearted bastard really thinks we care about him?"
Bianca frowned. "Dad, please don't talk about him like that. He's my husband, so of course I have to bring him back."
Douglas knew his daughter well. Once she set her mind to something, there was no stopping her. It was obvious that she truly cared about Julian. Trying to keep her from bringing him back was not realistic.
