And just like that, Bianca launched into an all-out pursuit of Julian. It seemed as if she thought they were dating again. She sent him flowers, desserts, and delicate gifts every single day. She also spent a fortune to buy the apartment directly across from Julian's, just so she could be closer to him.
Every morning, she would dress up and wait downstairs with a fresh bouquet of roses in her arms.
"Morning, Jules! You look even more handsome today."
"Heading to work? I'll drive you!"
"I bought you breakfast, Jules. Your favorite pancakes!"
In the evenings, she was always seen outside his office, holding more roses, waiting to catch him after work.
"Just got off work? Let me treat you to dinner."
"No? That's okay, too. I can drive you home. We live in the same apartment building anyway."
"These roses are for you. Just keep them, won't you?"
Still, no matter how persistent she was, Julian ignored her each time.
The roses? He threw them straight into the trash.
