Chapter 104

His roar pierced the air fighting the storm for air time as he hit the ground with a knee. His fist punched the ground as he jumped to his feet. Twisting in rage, his pupils grew as his teeth elongated. He looked rabid as he came after me time after time. I narrowly avoided several of his strikes when I felt the first drop of the storm approaching.  As the heavens released the down pour, his first contact was received to my side. The pain radiated through me as he reinjured the rib that was injured earlier while trying save his precious daughter. Stupid fool!  The battle raged, punches thrown, claws extended, bloody lips, cuts dripping, and ribs aching as the storm carried on. Our bodies were drenched from the rain and blood that oozed from the wounds we have inflicted on each other.  The ground became a slippery mess with each drop. It was falling so fast that the water wasn’t even being absorbed into the ground. A simple error in step could lead
