“Jennifer, your brother, he moved away from home. He doesn´t want anything to do with your dad. He is mad at him because of you. Since he left he has never spoken to your dad or step-sister. Your mother does go and visit him though.” Rosa sighed knowing next part is going be hard for her friend to accept. She was always close to her mom. Looking into her eyes, Rosa’s face was crestfallen as she relayed the rest of the news, “Jennifer your mom…well…she isn´t in good health and hasn’t been for some time. I think she is grieving for you. She’s has lost weight, doesn´t talk or go out, and is non-responsive. She primarily stares into space. She continues to wear only black and looks hollow and empty. She is existing but not living. I am sorry to say. I even heard that your mom no longer sleeps in the same room as your dad. She has taken residence in your old room and will not stay elsewhere. It’s like she is waiting for you to walk into the room and will not budge until you come back. I kno
