~Selene~ ”I would really appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone that I was here,” Steph continued and eyed me in a way that made me shiver. ”Why?” I asked her and tried not to let my emotions show. Steph gently shook her head. Her face was an unpenetrable mask and she looked like a beautiful statue. ”You can't trust the people here, Selene,” She said and once again I shivered but this time it was noticeable. My shoulders shook and the goosebumps were viciously growing on my body. Steph licked her lips and then continued. ”I heard from Emma,” She said and looked into my eyes, awaiting a reaction. ”You know Emma?” I asked her in shock. ”I do. We’ve known each other for a long time. I have friends a little here and there, some I see when we go into town and others I merely talk to on the phone from time to time.
