Down in the hallway we met with Meredith and Rasmus. The king held out a pair of keys towards Percy which he took and gave a silent nod in return. ”The car is in the front, another car with three of our best will follow behind you until you're past the border and the neighboring town.” The king's voice was darker than usual and full-on serious. Though he didn't bother to spare me a glance as he explained the plan to Percy. ”Leave, now.” He said and Percy grabbed my hand, dragging me after him until we made It outside and toward the car. He pressed on the clicker and a black SUV lit up on the gravel path leading away from the estate. ”Get in.” He ordered. I scoffed but did as he told me, I wanted to get away from here as badly as he did. The thought of what would happen if I didn't was freaking me out. ”Watch out!” Someone yelled from up on the stairs. Percy was beside me in a second and pushed me up against the car. A limp body came flying towards us and landed on the roof of the
