Lucy's POV
The war room beneath Constantine Industries hummed with tension. Maps covered the walls, and red strings connected possible locations where Xena's coven might be hiding. Surveillance photos, intel reports, and ancient texts littered the massive table where I sat with Rico's inner circle.
"Our sources confirm movement in the eastern territories," Carrick said, his silver-streaked hair gleaming in the low light. "Three of Xena's lieutenants were seen in Prague last week."
"A distraction," Tasha countered, her fierce eyes meeting mine. In the months since my turning, she'd become one of my closest allies. "Xena knows we're watching Europe. She'd never keep a seer child there."
