Chapter 64

Jade's Pov  Pain.  That's what I first felt when I woke up.  I opened my eyes slowly and was met with an unfamiliar ceiling. My eyes studied it for some time before Saint's face appeared on top of me obstructing my view.  "You're awake." He said, peering into my eyes.  I didn't respond as I stared at him for some time and then looked around the room, trying to figure out where I was. I saw an older man standing behind Saint who had his arms folded.  I then recognised the room. It was Saint's. But the older man? He was someone I hadn't seen before and it made me wonder who he was.  I grunted as I started to sit up, feeling the pain in my abdomen. Saint put his arm behind me helping me up and a pillow behind my back to support me.  The unfamiliar man rushed over to the other side of the bed and reached out his hand, making me shift towards Saint a bit.  "It's alright," Saint assured me. "He's the house doctor and he's the one that has been taking care of you since yesterday.  Yesterday?
