For the next few days, Izaak was rarely present. Although he was always busy, these particular days, his schedule appeared to be more hectic than usual. Gabriella felt sad about it, but she understood it was part of his job as the head of a mega-giant corporation.

He was already gone. Gabriella found that odd. He always gave the impression that taking her to work and driving her home were the most important things in his life. Whether he was sleep-deprived the night before or he had an urgent meeting, he would never allow Gabriella to go to work alone. That was why her car had become useless these days.
