Izaak wrapped his arms around Gabriella and drew her close to his chest. Those words from Izaak opened a dam, and the river streamed down Gabriella's cheeks.
Those insincere words put an ache inside her heart. She pushed Izaak away.
“Don’t touch me,” she exclaimed with no conviction.
Those words were the words she had always longed to hear. But no! She shouldn’t get swayed. She shouldn’t let Izaak play with her heart anymore.
