Sherry stepped out of the elevator. When Caprice spotted her, her eyes immediately glowed up and she cried out at the top of her voice, “Mommy!” She hopped toward her mother like a rabbit. Sherry smiled brightly and greeted Caprice warmly, taking her into her sweet embrace. Then she took the keys out of her pocket and went to unlock the front door, promptly stepping inside after unlocking the door. She did not spare even a glance in John’s direction the entire time. John frowned faintly before following her into the house. Just like the past few days, Sherry bought plenty of ingredients using a food delivery service.
