Liam sat like a statue in the backseat. there was a sharp glare in his eyes that made it seem like he was in a bad mood. Caprice was cautious of sitting too close to him. At some point during the ride, when she noticed that Liam’s expression was still as gloomy as when she entered, she muttered weakly, "Liam, I'm sorry." Liam looked at her with a puzzled expression. “What are you apologizing for?” She answered frightfully, "I didn't know that you were waiting for me. I thought you already left for work. I should have left with you, so you wouldn’t have to spend time waiting for me.” She figured that the reason he was upset was that he had been stewing in the car, waiting for her. Liam grimaced, and several deep creases formed on his forehead. He entered into a somber silence. Caprice took this silence to mean that her concerns were true.
