AMELIA’s
I shivered as the cold, howling wind hit my skin as we walked up the mountain. I was clad in a huge, thick coat made of animal fur, but somehow the cold still managed to seep in. I released a breath, frosty air escaped my lips and danced around before moving with the wind.
“Amelia, I ask again. Do you really not want me to carry you? I fear you might collapse even before we get to the top.” Charles let out, for the umpteenth time since we started the journey.
“Ugh, I don't need you carrying me. I’m strong enough, and I’ve been doing fine since we were at the bottom of the mountain. You don't seem to notice I’ve gotten stronger, do you?” I hummed.
“Don't mind him. He’s such a dummy. Even a blind man can perceive that you're getting stronger.” Cassio grinned, and I could see a vein pop on Charles’s head, at the left side.
