I stared at my reflection, mesmerized by the pale silver-blue organza gown that seemed enchanted by moonlight.
The fabric caught every ray of light like a calm lake reflecting a full moon, creating rippling patterns that made the dress appear almost otherworldly.
The silhouette hugged my curves perfectly before flaring out into an ethereal skirt that swirled like mist when I moved.
So lightweight it felt like wearing clouds, the dress seemed to make the air itself dance around my legs.
"Isn't this a bit... dramatic?" I asked, turning to Alex with wide eyes. "It looks more suitable for some mysterious werewolf ceremony than a charity ball."
Alex crossed his arms over his chest, beaming with the pride of an artist admiring his masterpiece. "Darling, you haven't seen a Legacy Gala yet. Some Lunas will show up looking like they stepped out of ancient werewolf mythology, royal coronations, or forest deity legends. This—"
He gestured to my ensemble, "This is perfectly appropriate."
