Sienna’s POV
I was absolutely right about the yacht being for us, because there we were, standing on the upper deck, sailing out into the darkness of the ocean.
What I hadn’t anticipated was that it wasn’t the honeymoon itself — it was just the ride there. One hell of a ride, at that.
It soared through the water, and it wasn’t long until I saw something out in the distance, some kind of island, the twinkle of lights catching my eye.
“Look at all that curiosity on your face,” Alaric chuckled, kissing my temple. “You are going to absolutely love this; it’s for the entire weekend, too.”
I almost moaned in relief, figuring I should probably save those for a couple hours from now instead. The heat in my core had been building for the last few hours with the desperation to get Alaric alone.
