My stomach pretty much hit the floor when Dad and Jerry told me I would be put through my paces with a gruelling eight-month programme, designed to make the toughest men whimper in fear. Now is the time to be kicking myself. With three family members having progressed through the same training, I spent my first week doing research and preparing for the physical exercises. I'm no cross country runner, and all those extra portions during dinner made me curse and moan. Every night, I ran within the territory in my wolf form, trying to gain some last minute stamina. All week, my mind has been on Dante. I've had to meet Kurt more times than I can take, yet I found the strength to tune his arrogant smirk out of my thoughts.
