Chapter 161
Vivienne's POV
I hung up the phone and returned to my seat.
Sophie noticed my mood was off and casually asked, "Who was that on the phone?"
"A friend," I said, biting my lower lip.
"Hmph, I know how many friends you have. That friend of yours isn’t that jerk Alexander, is it?"
I fell silent for a moment.
Seeing that I didn’t respond, Sophie scoffed, "Why would he be calling you? To bother you? Vivienne, don’t go soft on him and forgive him!"
"I won’t," I said firmly. "It was his friend calling. He’s been drinking and asked me to talk to him. He got hurt trying to save me—I can’t just ignore it."
Ariana chimed in, "I believe Vivienne wouldn’t be so foolish, but she needs some time to move on."
Two hours later, the three of us arrived in Tromsø.
After leaving the airport, we took a bus to the hotel.
Looking out the bus window, I noticed there was still a layer of snow on both sides of the road.
