Inside the carriage, Vivian marveled at her surroundings. It was her first time riding in one.
Although some modern tourist attractions offered carriage rides, this experience felt entirely different.
The carriage was incredibly well-equipped for its size. She could even have lemon tea inside.
The seat cushions were made from soft and warm animal fur, adding comfort.
"For me, it's been only a month or two, but it's been more than two years for you? No wonder you're so different now," Vivian said, still in a bit of awe.
At first, there had been a sense of unfamiliarity. But after they briefly explained their situations to each other, that familiar feeling returned.
Upon hearing Vivian's explanation, Manfred felt the self-doubt and insecurity that had been lingering in his heart vanish. She hadn't avoided him because of disdain.
It turned out that while two years had passed for him, it had only been one or two months for her, and she never gave up on coming to find him.
