AURELIA’S POV When I pushed open the door to my chamber, I expected silence. The kind of silence I’d come to treasure—fragile, fleeting. Instead, I found Seraphina pacing like a caged animal, her skirts swishing with every sharp turn. Her eyes snapped to me the instant I entered, blazing with a fury I hadn’t seen in weeks. “What the hell are you doing?” she spat.
