Caitlyn’s POV
The Blood Moon was rising, its crimson glow covering the ruined city of Eldoria in an eerie light. The air was heavy, thick with the scent of burning incense and old blood. Dark energy pulsed from the stone walls of the Abyssal Order’s stronghold, humming like a heartbeat beneath my feet. Every part of me screamed to turn back, to run.
But I couldn’t. Not when Kane was here. Not when time was slipping away.
I moved through the ancient corridors like a shadow, my heart pounding in time with the distant chanting echoing through the halls. The deeper I went, the colder the air became. The abyssal magic wrapped around me like unseen chains, squeezing the breath from my lungs. Strange sigils glowed on the walls, pulsing with a power that whispered of ruin and corruption.
