I know I was the one who insisted on knowing what was going on, but I now wish he had kept me out of it instead. I wish instead of telling him so trustfully, he had decided it was bad for me to know and just kept me in the dark. I know very well that it is not a way for me to grow strong; it's just something I feel in that moment. I had come back, but I did not think that joining Drexon was going to put me in the exact situation—death.
"Do you have an idea who is behind this?" I ask. I stare at his face because even when he is not talking and thinking, he is subtle enough; his face tells me almost everything that I need to know. The way the corner of his eyes twitches and his face turns down tells me all I need to know. "You don't want to tell me."
"Do you need to know?" he is walking towards me. He had been sitting beside me all along, but as soon as I came back from the test, he seemed to distance himself. "You know, there is still time; you can walk away."
