Just as Yarrick was holding Hailey in his arms, thinking about what to do next, there was a knock on the door. Yarrick was so shocked that he let go of Hailey and jumped off the bed. At the same time, the door opened slowly. A young, pretty nurse stepped into the room. "You..." She frowned immediately when she saw the messy state of the bed and the way Hailey was lying awkwardly on her side. She didn't recognize Yarrick since she wasn't part of the ICU staff, so she instantly suspected something inappropriate had happened. Hailey looked like she was asleep and hadn't moved.
