"Something happened in Laventon?" Maeve's brow furrowed as she tried to recall their last trip there. Nothing had seemed amiss.
If Liam had just stayed put in Laventon and played it smart, he could've had the place under his control.
There was no reason for him to wade into the chaos in Eldoria, which ultimately cost him his engagement with Sabrina and left him humiliated.
