Cedric stared at Noelle in front of him, stunned for a long time. At last, he asked again, "What did you just say your name was?"
"Tina."
"Not that one.
"Oh, you mean my Montrevian name? Noelle Liddell."
He pressed his lips into a thin line and spat, "That's an awful name. You should change it."
"Why should I, just because you say so? What makes you think I should obey your words? If you think it sounds bad, then I'm even less likely to change it."
She tipped back her glass and drank again. "I thought this house had no wine and searched so hard when you've been hiding it down here all along. But how did you know I wanted a drink?"
"You're overthinking," he coolly replied and poured himself another glass. "I'm here just because I wanted a drink myself."
"Well, what a coincidence. I just wanted a drink, too; at least we're similar in some aspects."
Noelle continued sipping on her wine, and perhaps it was only then that she felt a sense of peace. The two of them said nothing more
