When Jason received the news, his face went ashen. He immediately rushed to the hospital with Benjamin. His footsteps in the corridor were urgent and heavy, his mind replaying Victoria's strange behavior recently—her gaze, her attitude, even her coldness and hostility toward him and Sophia. Two hospital rooms stood side by side. Jason stood between them, suddenly unsure which door to open first. As he hesitated, a nurse approached, holding an envelope. "Mr. Reid, this fell from Ms. Page's hands when she was brought in. Please confirm it's hers." Jason took the envelope and casually opened it, his pupils contracting sharply.
