Shocked, Nadia stiffly looked up after a while, taking in Theodore's pale yet smiling face. His gaze was tender, as if she was the only one he could see. Noticing that she wasn't responsive, he shook his head helplessly. He then propped himself up to sit on the bed and asked, "Why are you in a daze?" Just then, Nadia's tears started falling out of nowhere. Theodore immediately started panicking. "What's wrong? Why are you crying? Are you feeling unwell?" He quickly pulled her into his embrace, gently patting her back as he waited for her to calm down. She only spoke once her sobs gradually faded away. "I'm not unwell, Theo.
