His posture remained exactly the same as a few hours ago. He stood there, looking up at her room.
Serenity couldn't even explain how she was feeling. She dashed out of the room.
Since she didn't know where the umbrellas were, she simply draped a blanket over herself to cover herself from the rain as she ran to the lotus pond.
Despite the blanket covering her head and part of her body, the rain still hit Serenity's arms and front. The bean-sized raindrops felt icy.
She dashed to Jackson and, breathing heavily, questioned him, "What are you doing? Can't you see it's raining? Hurry up and get inside!"
Jackson did not move. He asked, his clear, cold voice resounding in the rainy night, "Why did you come out?"
He was drenched from the rain, his wet hair covering his face. Through the rain, she could see his dark eyes looking at her.
"Let's go inside first, okay?" she said, taking his hand and attempting to lead him into the house.
