Natalie Silvestre glanced at him and lowered her eyes, deep in thought.
After a while, she nodded. "So you're saying that message wasn't sent by you?"
The man in the black robe instinctively opened his mouth to deny it, but was suddenly interrupted by Natalie's icy voice. "You better tell the truth."
"Otherwise, I might not be able to defeat you, but I have enough ways to ensure you get nothing."
The smile on the man's face froze.
A few seconds later, he decisively spoke. "Yes, I sent that message."
"But I found the phone."
As he spoke, he quickly pulled out a phone from his pocket and tossed it into Natalie's lap.
After doing all this, the man in black raised his hands. "I know you might not believe me, but I hope you can stay clear-headed."
"And I believe trusting me won't harm you in any way."
The man finished speaking and looked at Natalie with a smile.
Natalie took a deep breath and nodded lightly. "For now, I'll believe you."
