Meeting a murderer
“It seems you have looked into me,” Bill spoke calmly. He didn’t deny it or appear surprised.
“Not too much. Otherwise you wouldn’t have the opportunity to call me,” Alice snorted.
The lighter made a crisp sound as Bill lit the cigarette. He took a long drag on his cigarette before saying, “I have what you’re looking for. In thirty minutes, I’ll be downstairs at your office.”
Alice was taken by surprise. Because she was wary of him, she didn’t say yes immediately.
Bill smiled as he noticed her hesitation and asked, “Are you worried about what I might do? You were not a coward when you are following me back then.”
Hearing that, Alice remembered him telling her the other day that someone had vandalized the school bus.
“Okay, I’ll see you later.” Alice is increasingly curious about what Bill intends to do.
