Henry smiled as he looked at Lexi. "You've been gone long enough. It's time to come home."
When he saw she was only carrying a backpack, he asked with a gloomy expression, "You were in Tenby for three years, and this is all you brought?"
Then he added, "Forget it. What could Jeremy have possibly given you that's worth keeping? When we get back, I'll just buy out an entire mall so that you can take whatever you want."
Lexi gave a faint smile.
For the past three years, the Frey Group had been on the rise, and she'd been careful not to spend on anything expensive. Back when she was living with the Shaws, the gifts she received annually from all her relatives could've easily bought out half of the Frey Group's shares.
"There's no need to waste money. I don't really care about material stuff anymore."
Henry noticed how much she'd changed. She was no longer the bold, carefree woman he remembered. His heart ached.
"Let's go," Lexi said as she got into the car.
