"Why hello there husband of mine, how can I help you on this fine day?" Shauna grinned, her Jamaican accent strong as she jumped down and slammed the door of her red four-wheel drive jeep. I rudely ignored her playful greeting, practically storming over to grab her wrist and dragging her over to the mystery girl's ambulance, "Hey!"
"There's no time." I muttered in reply, shoving through various officers before turning the corner of the vehicle and jumping in the back with my wife in tow. She protested in confusion, attempting to slap my hand away but I kept a firm grip as I shooed the paramedics out of the van. They left begrudgingly, Shauna still protesting with vigour before I brought her forward to face the girl. "She's dying, and we don't know why. It's something to do with that mark and I don't want the only link to a possibly extinct pack dying in my care. So please, fix her."
