Chapter Sixty: A Shadow from the Past

The familiar sound of my alarm stirred me out of sleep, and I shifted on the bed.
I was asleep on my stomach, my face pressed into one side of the pillow.
I reached for the alarm and snoozed it, falling back onto the bed to catch another few seconds of sleep.
This was the disadvantage of my trip to Italy. My body had become too relaxed over the week-long trip.
It would take a while before I forced my body out of the slothfulness it had gotten used to over the vacation.
The alarm groaned again, and I opened my eyes, stifling a yawn with the back of my hand.
I pushed myself to a sitting position, ruffling the hair on the back of my head.
How time flew!
It felt like mere seconds ago that I woke up on Sunday, and before I knew it, it was night.
I had been engrossed in poring over materials and hadn't noticed the passage of time.
As Trevor would have said, I was back to my boring, no-fun lifestyle.
But this was the lifestyle that gave me the feeling of accomplishme
