"I heard Holden Group secured the contract with the land owner, Sir," The manager informed me.
"Why am I being informed of that unnecessary detail?" I growled at Manager Craig.
"I just thought you should know, Sir. Besides, your brother is apparently among the attendees of Holden Group's business briefing."
I furrowed my brows. "What? What's he doing there?"
"I assume he was given an invitation because he is involved in a relationship with the Managing Director."
I doubted that was the case.

I had met the first man, but the other man didn't exist.
Realization dawned, and I sprang up from my seat.
Manager Craig retreated a step back from how abruptly I had risen from my chair, but I cared less about him.
"Is everything alright, Sir?" He stuttered the words out.
I had the feeling that the second, unidentified man, was familiar.
He didn't exist because that wasn't his actual name.
That name was only an alias, yet it was an accurate name.
