Kyra’s POV
After our one wild night together, I asked Kieran to give me some space the next morning—but two whole days went by without a word from him. His absence sent my inner wolf, Sylvia, into a frenzy. “He should be here,” she kept whining day after day, pacing ceaselessly in my mind.
Over the weekend, my apartment was unusually quiet. Even Nathan hadn’t pushed to see or talk to me. Strangely, that calm comforted me a bit. Deep down, I knew they were just trying to give me some breathing room—I know them well enough. Their persistence is legendary; they never stop reminding me of what they think I deserve.
