Realizing that Dana was about to kneel, Xavia quickly stopped her while saying, “Please don’t do this, Aunt…” By this point, Xavia’s expression had gone dark. Though she knew that Sophia liked that man, she hadn’t expected her to have such deep feelings for him… After all, that woman had spent her entire life working hard just to get closer to him! For such deep love to be denied because of the public… Regardless, after hearing all that, Xavia now knew that she hadn’t just lost to Sophia in that test, but also in terms of how much she loved Zivon… Nobody else deserved to be with Zivon more than Sophia. As the dumbfounded woman continued standing there, Zivon stopped before her and added, “Why did you ignore my calls? That aside, we need to talk.” …Though his voice wasn’t gentle, it wasn’t cold either. In fact, it sounded a bit kind… Quickly snapping out of it, Xavia immediately retorted, “There’s nothing to talk about. It’s all over between us.” “I never agreed to that, so things can still be patched up,” replied Zivon as he held onto her wrist before dragging her into his car… and shortly after, they arrived at a western restaurant. The same one that Xavia had seen that night…! Did he love classy places like these that much? Or was it just because such places reminded him of Sophia? Irked by the thought, Xavia got to her feet before saying, “Apologies, Young Master Burton, but I don’t have the time to eat with you. That aside, I don’t fancy such classy food.” Pulling her back down, Zivon replied, “Stay. Regardless of how busy you are, you need to at least give me these few minutes. Now then.
