Chapter 1046
...Fiona? What was she doing here? That aside, how dare she slap her out of the blue! Clenching her fists, Xavia was prompted to growl, “Have you gone mental, Miss Squire…?! You’re a doctor, aren’t you?! Go treat yourself or something!”
In response, Fiona simply grabbed Xavia by the arm while retorting, “Say what you want, but how dare you get this close to Brother Zivon…?! Thank God I had someone investigate your whereabouts! Why can’t you two b*tches just stay the f*ck away from him?! Who the hell are you to stand out more than I do?! And what gave you the right to make that grand announcement regarding Sophia’s test results?!”
“If it wasn’t for you, I’d be dating Brother Zivon now! Grandma had already promised me, you wh*re…!” concluded the infuriated Fiona.
She, for one, had been extremely eager to show him what she was capable of and finally bear his child! Hell, she had dreamed of their wedding photos, and her family had even celebrated with her before this, expecting her to win! After all, Ava had declared that she’d never allow Xavia to marry Zivon, not even after her death! Because of that, Fiona should’ve been the rightful winner!
Alas, that b*tch simply had to ruin everything…! Unable to calm herself, Fiona yanked Xavia’s hair before howling, “It’s…! It’s all your f*cking fault! That does it! I’m killing you if it’s the last thing I do…!”
Following that, Fiona launched a barrage of kicks and scratches, prompting Xavia to yelp in pain! However, she wasn’t about to go down without a fight! In retaliation, Xavia kicked Fiona on the leg, causing the deranged woman to scream as she fell to the floor!
Glaring at Xavia, Fiona then growled, “How dare you hurt me…! I’m getting Brother Zivon to feed you to the dogs!”
“Is that so…?! Go right ahead…! In fact, I don’t mind making the call for you!” retorted Xavia as she threateningly got her phone out. Xavia, for one, knew that Fiona would never allow Zivon to know how nasty she really was… and as expected, Fiona immediately slammed Xavia’s phone to the floor!
Glaring daggers at Xavia, Fiona then growled, “You’re a bigger b*tch than your sister, Xavia…!”
To her shock, Fiona was immediately greeted by a tight slap! Utterly flabbergasted by Xavia’s actions, the infuriated woman yelled, “How dare you-”
“That. Is for slapping me,” interrupted Xavia.
Before Fiona could retort, Xavia slapped her once more as she added, “And this is for calling me a b*tch even though we both know who the real b*tch here is!”
“You…!”
“What? No matter, I don’t care what you have to say. Just get out of my sight in the next five seconds or I’m telling Zivon about all this!” retorted Xavia as she glared at the now terrified woman. Fiona had always made sure to behave innocently in front of Zivon… If he were to find out how wild she actually was, then…!
In the end, Fiona clenched her fists before threatening, “…Just you wait, Xavia…! I’m not letting you off that easily…!”
Watching as Fiona then huffed off, Xavia quickly closed the door behind her before picking her phone up… She was silent for a while, but eventually, she was prompted to look at herself in the mirror…
Truth be told, she wasn’t all that angry with Fiona’s response. After all, she knew how frustrating it could be to have someone stand in one’s way… Regardless, she couldn’t appear before Zivon like this.
With that in mind, she quickly resumed cooking… and shortly after, she had everything placed inside a thermos.
It was around then when Zivon—who had been busy discussing how to handle the situation with Sophia in his office—heard his message notification play. Recalling how upset Xavia had been when he didn’t immediately return her message, he was prompted to see whether it was her… and true enough, it really was.
The message itself stated, ‘I’ve made a meal for you and placed it within a thermos, so remember to eat it once you’re back at the apartment. That aside, Yulia’s still at home and I’m sure she misses me dearly. With that said, could you give me the elevator’s password…? Though I’ve seen others using it no problem, it never seems to work in my favor…’
Upon reading that, Zivon couldn’t help but smile. It wasn’t working for her since he had notified management to always switch to the more advanced elevator system whenever she wasn’t with him. In other words, she wouldn’t have been able to use it no matter how hard she tried.
Shaking the thought off, Zivon simply replied, ‘I’m leaving soon, so just tell Yulia that I’m picking her up in a bit.’
