"It was me," Julian affirmed with a nod. "You didn't leave any contact information, even though you saved me. It took me five years to find out that you were my savior."
Avery frowned. "So, you fell for me because I saved you?"
Julian burst into laughter. "Of course not. I think I must have fallen in love with you while I was looking for you. There's a saying on the internet that claims that a man's love is born from his curiosity toward a woman. I think it's quite true."
He stared at her before saying, "Anyway, I've loved you for ten years. I don't want to let you slip through my fingers again."
