Chapter 6 She's Afraid

Just as Wilson was about to head over to our table, Rose mustered up the courage to grab his arm. When Wilson looked at her, she shook her head ever so slightly, as though she was afraid of something. However, after noting the irritated look in his eyes, she immediately released him before saying with a hint of smugness in her voice, "One of them is my younger sister." Then, she pointed at me. After telling his friends to leave without him, Wilson came toward us. Rose wanted to tag along, but he didn't let her. I could see she was upset about that, but she had no say in the matter. All she could do was wait outside as instructed. "Have you brought your students out for a meal, Professor Stone?" Wilson remarked after taking a seat beside Professor Stone. Smiling, Professor Stone made the introductions. "This is Mr. Wilson Langley of Wilson Biotech. I've collaborated with his company a few times before." As all of the students greeted Wilson, I calmly joined in without appearing t
