Chapter 385

What couldn't be found out by then? Morgan suddenly recalled what Lily had just said. Twisting the truth—that was a great idea. "Stop spouting nonsense! Who said this was secretly photographed? Maybe he's just someone trying to change his outfit? Do you have any proof that he was secretly photographing? Is there CCTV here?" Morgan argued forcefully, his voice sharp and loud. It seemed like he truly intended to turn black into white. Seeing this, Lily smirked coldly too. She didn't care about right or wrong—her goal was just to make things harder for Christina. "Yeah, he's right! Do you have any evidence? Why are you accusing him baselessly? This is a fitting room. Anyone could have come in to change outfits! Don't make baseless accusations, or you could be sued for defamation!" Lily scolded. "Lily!" Jenny was fuming, utterly shocked by how shamelessly they twisted the facts! They were making it look like she and Christina had framed the man! "Are you blind? Why don't you just check his camera? That'll tell you everything! How can you accuse us without knowing the facts? Do you all know each other?" Jenny yelled, her anger spilling over. Her words made Morgan Sterling break into a cold sweat, and he was visibly shaken. He was at a loss for words, frozen in place, unsure what to say. At that moment, Lily's temper exploded. To her, Jenny's words clearly implied that she had hired Logan to do such a thing. "Jenny! How dare you slander me! I'll shut your mouth!" Lily shrieked, her fury uncontainable. She raised her hand high, wanting to slap Jenny. Jenny froze in shock, trembling with fear as dread consumed her. She thought she was done. The next second, a large hand shot out and grabbed Lily's wrist firmly, stopping her mid-swing. The expected scene of Jenny being slapped did not happen. Only then did Jenny dare to open her eyes and see what was happening in front of her. "Hayden!" Jenny exclaimed with excitement, her voice filled with relief and joy. She looked like she had found her anchor, a source of unshakable comfort. "Don't worry. I'm here," Hayden said calmly. With a quick flick of his wrist, he threw Lily's hand aside, nearly causing her to stumble. Hayden placed the bag he was carrying on the ground and handed out the cold drinks for the crew to distribute among themselves. "What's the point of you being here? I think this whole thing was your idea—to photograph Christina secretly! Hmph! You're a disgusting and despicable person!" Lily sneered, rubbing her wrist, intentionally using her handkerchief to wipe the part Hayden had touched. "Lily, let's take this man away and interrogate him. We'll get all the answers, won't we?" Morgan quickly suggested, eager to take the upper hand. He worried about the consequences if the cops got involved. At this point, Hayden had finished distributing the drinks and was gently wiping the tears from Christina's face with a tissue. He suppressed his anger and chose to ignore Lily. He then picked up an iron rod from the ground and strode toward one of the fitting rooms where Logan was hiding inside. "Get out here or I'll beat you heavily!" Hayden's voice was icy and filled with rage. His words sent a chill down everyone's spine in an instant. The crowd was terrified, feeling as if Hayden might completely lose control. "Don't… Don't hurt me! I'll come out now." Unable to withstand the pressure any longer, Logan slowly emerged from the fitting room, trembling.
