The next morning.
A black Lexus rolled to a stop at the front gates of the Taylor residence.
Emma hopped out from the driver’s seat, tossed the keys over to Cassandra, and said with a smirk, “Didn’t you say you got your license? Big sis’s here to test you personally.”
“Oh? Then just sit tight and enjoy the ride,” Cassandra replied, lifting one eyebrow with a mischievous grin.
Yeah, not hard to see why the two of them got along like a house on fire.
Emma blinked, sensing something off from Cassandra’s smile, and for a split second, she questioned whether this was such a great idea. But then she rolled her eyes—please, when had fearless Emma ever chickened out?
She barely got buckled into the passenger seat before the car shot off like it had rockets under it. They were flying down the road, the scenery zooming past like a montage clip.
“Are you outta your mind, Cassandra?! Did you confuse the gas for the brake?” Emma yelled, face going pale. “Pull over! Right now!”
