Lucas made a quick call to Jordan, instructing him to take Little Jane and Ares Kai back home. Meanwhile, Lucas himself slammed the accelerator to the floor, speeding toward the site of the explosion.

The explosion had occurred on the outskirts of the capital, at an abandoned steel mill. By the time Lucas arrived, the entire area had been cordoned off to prevent secondary explosions and further casualties. Only firefighters, clad in heavy protective gear, were inside, battling the flames and conducting search operations.
Just as Lucas was about to show his credentials to the police and military personnel on-site, Isaac arrived and stopped him. Isaac flashed his own ID and escorted him inside.
