Jasper staggered a bit as he walked over, his bleary eyes scanning Lilah up and down like he was trying to make sure she was real.
"Well damn, look who showed up. Thought I'd go my whole life without seeing you again!"
In Lilah's memory, Jasper had always been the kind with zero boundaries.
Even in broad daylight, he reeked of booze.
She didn't react much, just stood there calm and collected, her eyes steady.
"What the hell are you saying?" Mr. Wallace snapped, his brows forming a deep frown, voice filled with displeasure. "Is that how you talk to your sister-in-law? No basic manners? Hurry up and say hello!"
"Jasper's just being blunt—he's surprised, that's all," Elena quickly jumped in to smooth things over, nudging Jasper lightly with her elbow.
Then, with a quick shift of focus, her gaze turned toward Dylan, who was hiding in Aurora's arms. "At least Jasper's seen her before. Some haven't even caught a glimpse all these years. Dylan, do you know who this is?"
