But Leon Sterling? He actually gave off a trustable vibe.
He was that kind of guy—solid, respectful.
“Where Miss Taylor’s staying isn’t easy to find,” Lilah said. “I’ll have Nina go with you.”

After polishing off breakfast, Gabriel Wallace took Aiden to school.
Lilah had to head to the hospital later too, but she wasn’t in a rush.

It was tucked a bit farther out from the main house. Lilah had actually offered her a room in the main building back then, but Heather said she liked things quiet, so Lilah found her the nicest, most peaceful little place around.
