Chapter 66
Vivian was flipping through the company files Iris had dropped off when a message popped up on her phone.
Some of the documents needed her signature.
As for Alexander...
He wasn’t far—sitting nearby, working through work emails on his laptop. Every now and then, he’d glance up with a faint smile, his eyes settling fondly on her.
Right now, his gaze locked on her hands—who was she texting?
Vivian looked at the message from Tristan and calmly typed out a reply before hitting send.
[I'll be there at 9 a.m. tomorrow.]
Tristan had reached out, saying he wanted to talk about the Grant family over lunch at Drunken Court. Asked if she could make it.
Vivian was mildly intrigued.
Drunken Court, huh... food there was pretty decent.
"Viv, who are you texting?"
Alexander had come over, standing next to her. He made an effort not to peek at her phone.
Vivian didn’t mind sharing. She tilted her phone toward him. “Tristan. Invited me to Drunken Court tomorrow. Something about the Grant family.”
