Christopher slumped down onto the couch with a thud.
He looked like he'd lost all purpose, eyes dull and unfocused.
Vivian called over a waiter and paid the bill with her card.
Just as she was about to leave, Christopher suddenly spoke up, “Didn’t you just say emotional wounds need emotional cures?”
He was Evelyn’s cure.
