Noah and the manager looked at each other, both completely lost and shook their heads in confusion.
Delia arched a brow, voice light but lethal.
"Showing off love? It's not for fun. It's a warning-he's mine, I spoil him, and if you so much as breathe in his direction, I'll make sure you choke on it."

Noah and the manager froze, necks shrinking in unison. Before they could say a word, Delia had already strutted off toward Curtis's office like she owned the place.
The manager sighed, gave Noah a helpless pat on the shoulder as if to say "hang in there," then stepped into the elevator, shaking his head on the way down. Working for this couple? Poor kid's in for a ride.
